Ben is an intermediate pattern, made using size 10 ½ needles and approximately 85 yards of heavy weight gray(g) wool yarn, 35 yards of white(w) wool, scraps of black for accents. The pattern is worked using stockinette stitch, short rows, and intarsia techniques. Simple embroidery stitches are used for details on the face.
