Deborah is knitted with feltable wool yarn on 10 ½ needles, using approximately 160 yards of heavy weight wool. Color amounts will be determined by your creativity. To create a blue crab, knit top shell and all legs with approximately 100 yards medium blue wool. Female blue crabs have red tips on their claws, males do not. Make the crab bottom shell and body with about 50 yards white wool. The small dome like design on the underside of the female, is made with approximately 10 yards of tan wool and outlined in dark brown. The bottom shell is written in color coded instructions and in graph form.
