Emma is an intermediate pattern, made with feltable wool yarn, using approximately 150 yards of medium gray, 7 yards of white, and 7 yards of light pink heavy weight wool and size 7 and 10 ½ circular needles. The pattern is worked in stockinette stitch, short rows, and I-cord. The hobby elephant is mounted on a ¾ inch dowel stick, approximately 3 feet long, using 2 pieces of industrial strength self adhesive backed Velcro. A #16 tapestry needle is used to sew her together.
