This pattern in made using feltable wool yarn.  You will need approximately 100 yards of medium brown and 30 yards of dark brown heavy weight wool for the mane, and size 10 ½ circular needles. Use your own creativity to create any color horse your young rider desires. The hobby horse is mounted on a ¾ inch dowel stick, approximately 3-4 feet long. The gray horse pattern uses approximately 35 yards of white wool for the blaze.
